Unit Size: 24 bedsRatios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:5 on nights, acuity dependent.Patient Population: Mixed IMC acuity patients. Cardiac: NSTEMI, stress tests, cardioversions, TEE's. Neuro: May see some neuro patients. General: HD, AKI, CRF, GI bleeds. Repiratory: COPD, CHF, COVID.Lines/Drains/Devices: None specified.Airway: 2 rooms for stable vents/trachs. BiPAP, CPAP, High flow, etc. Vents are a preferred skill (vents are occasional on unit and would educate travelers prior to assigning).Drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix. Typically non-titratable drips.Ancillary Staff: Typically 2 CNA’s per shift.Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs.*All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility.
